"I really enjoyed Kathleen's Publicity Workshop. She offered great suggestions for each and every participant. As a result of her advice on how to approach an editor, I got an article published and hope to publish more."
Natalia Kaylin, owner, Eastern Sciences: Feng Shui
"Just a quick note to tell you how much I enjoyed the Publicity Workshop and to let you know I have already started to use some of the suggestions. I recently did an art show in Amherst. I followed the steps presented in the Do-It-Yourself Publicity Kit and submitted calendar events to local papers. I'm happy to report that all the papers did print the notices."
Joanne White, Dichotomous Ink, Fine Art Prints
"Kathleen's Publicity Workshop was great. Not only did I learn a lot about
what editors want - as well as how to present it properly - I made some
terrific contacts - including a new corporate client! Kathleen is not only
an enthusiastic and engaging lecturer, she truly does have - and make - the
write connections."

All About Press Releases
For small businesses and non-profit organizations, getting newspaper, magazine, radio, and television coverage might seem impossible. This two-hour seminar will show participants how to write press releases, when to write them, and where to send them. Learn how to elevate your press release from “just another piece of paper on an editor’s desk” to an eye-catching idea for a feature article.
"It was a pleasure to meet you at the Positive Results seminar last week. I enjoyed your presentation. It has me thinking in a whole new way about
newspapers and publicity. The insights you brought regarding the timing of approaching an editor were revealing. I felt like I had a window into the operation of a newspaper that I hadn't had before. Thank you for that!"

Make Yourself Memorable
It's true-there's only one chance to make a first impression, so why not make yours memorable! Ever wonder how some companies or people seem to attract business with little or no effort? Participants in this lively, interactive workshop will review classic taglines and clever elevator pitches that clarify the product or service and make them memorable to a target audience. Learn how colors, clothing, accessories, props and even postage stamps can create visual memory hooks that interest and entice new customers or clients. Variations of the results might be used in other formats-in a brochure, on a Web site, post card, or even as the basis for a workshop.
"As the organizer of a networking meeting for marketing professionals, I asked Kathleen to deliver her Make Yourself Memorable workshop to our group. She delivered the information and did so in a truly memorable way – with high energy, professionalism and good humor. It was a pleasure to work with Kathleen and I hope to have many more opportunities to do so in the future."
Paula McCarron, Dana Home of Lexington
"Just to let you know that yesterday I attended a networking meeting in Burlington – about 1/3 of the folks were at your program here at Dana Home last month. As each of us had our turn to introduce ourselves and our services, we realized that a number of us were using the techniques you suggested. There was some good-natured laughter about "Kathleen would give you an A" for that, or "Don't forget to add your name and organization" at the beginning and ending of your intro. I thought you'd like knowing that folks are using the tips you provided to us and that your program and name have indeed been made "memorable." "
